A fantastic school district located in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct social work services and support to students based on individual needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student social, emotional, and behavioral development

Assist in implementing behavior or educational plans as needed

Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of social work services and interventions

Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings to provide insight into student performance and needs

Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:

Licensed School Social Worker (LSSW) credential or equivalent licensure in Minnesota

Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents in educational or community environments preferred

Strong knowledge of social work practices related to child welfare, mental health, and educational support

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of behavioral, educational, and clinical methodologies relevant to student support and intervention
